Unit 16 deals with basic concepts in the nursing of the aged, in community health, and in the legal responsibilities of the practical nurse. Covered next are nursing care procedures for adults with the following diseases or conditions: diseases of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, endocrine, reproductive, and nervous systems; diseases of the eye and ear; cancer; infectious diseases; and allergic conditions.
