Trends in enrollment and degrees granted by the State University of New York (SUNY) institutions from 1948 to 1980 are presented. Credit course enrollment and degree data are presented for the following categories: state university totals, state university totals excluding community colleges sponsored by the New York City Board of Higher Education, state-operated funded institutions, university centers, university colleges, health sciences centers, specialized colleges, statutory colleges, community colleges under the sponsorship of the New York City Board of Higher Education, and all other community colleges.
