This manual describes a French immersion weekend that was held at a campground in Iowa. The manual is arranged in chronological order beginning with arrival Friday evening and continuing through Sunday morning departure. The contents include: (1) a summary of the goals and objectives of the camp-experience; (2) schedule of activities; (3) a detailed description of each activity in the order in which it occurred; (4) information for administrators, teachers, and other personnel; (5) handouts and activity sheets in approximately the order in which they were used; (6) information on obtaining foreign currency; and (7) useful addresses both for cultural materials and of personnel in Iowa who are willing to answer questions.
