Educator's Guide to Effective Special Education Materials (As Reported through the Indiana Teacher-Initiated Material Evaluation [TIME] Project).

Results of the Indiana TIME (Teacher Initiated Materials Evaluation) Project are presented to assist teachers and administrators with instructional materials selection. Teachers were surveyed about materials they owned, used on a daily basis, and believed effective. The resulting guide is separated into the following sections (title and publisher presented for subheadings under each): preschool handicapped; educable mentally retarded (EMR) primary; EMR intermediate; EMR junior hiqh; EMR senior high; trainable mentally retarded (TMR) primary to intermediate; TMR junior and senior high; severely/profoundly retarded; speech, hearing, and language handicapped; emotionally handicapped; learning disabled (LD) primary and intermediate; LD junior and senior high; deaf and hearing impaired; blind and visually impaired; physically handicapped; and multiply handicapped.
