This catalogue describes the nature and purposes of the Research and Development Utilization (RDU) Program, which was designed to improve programs in the areas of basic skills, career education, and inservice education. The RDU resource materials consist of 60 documents that cluster around four broad topics: (1) resources to help school staff work through a program improvement process, (2) role-related resources for linking agents, (3) resources from educational research and development, and (4) resources describing the RDU projects' experiences and learnings. Two indexes are provided for these documents, one for content, the other for the format of the material. The majority of the catalogue consists of descriptions of specific resources and projects. Resources are described in terms of title, date and source, type of material, intended audience, cost and availability. A brief abstract is also provided. Information about projects is presented under the following headings: project structure, schools, linkers, school team, problem-solving approaches and services, research and development resources and services, other resource agencies, linker training and support, and project resources. The name and address of a contact person are included. The concluding overview reports on a study of the RDU program. (Author/JK)
