School District Guidelines: How to Interpret and Use the Class, School, and District Summary Reports. New Jersey Minimum Basic Skills Testing Program 1978-80.
New Jersey State Dept. of Education, Trenton. Div. of Operations, Research, and Evaluation.
To assist districts in analyzing and using the second set of results (the summary reports for class, school and district) from the New Jersey Minimum Basic Skills Tests, this guidelines booklet was developed. The booklet is divided into four main sections: (1) required interpretation of the summary reports; (2) interpretation checklist; (3) suggested procedures for the interpretation process; and (4) using the summary reports for program assessment. In addition, appendices contain a glossary of terms, statewide responses to General Information Questions for grades 3, 6, 9, and 11, levels tested, an item analysis for each test by grade and subject (reading and mathematics), and descriptions of district factor group and community type. This booklet was specifically designed for use with the 1979-80 Minimum Basic Skills summary reports, and should not be confused with the guidelines booklet for the student roster, or guidelines booklets from previous years.
