A study plan for the examination for candidacy in higher education administration for the community college is presented. The outline on the doctoral program includes five areas: course work, electives, the selection of a committee, getting organized, and things to remember. A bibliography of journals and books is provided that may be useful in preparing for the examination. Sample questions that have been asked at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville are appended.
