The Physical Activity Specialist's Role. Implementing Title IX and Attaining Sex Equity: A Workshop Package for Elementary-Secondary Educators.
Landers, Barbara
This workshop package provides training session outlines and materials for a workshop sequence on Title IX and sex equity in physical education. Three of these sessions are designed to provide general information and experiences relevant to all participants attending the workshop. The other two sessions, called "Application Sessions," are designed to provide specialized information and experiences to persons of different professional roles and responsibilities. These application sessions deal with the legal requirements of Title IX and the need for change, and with analyzing existing conditions and planning athletic programs to conform to legal responsibilities.
