New England Regional Student Program Enrollment Report.

A regional student enrollment statistical report for the 1977-1978 academic year is provided for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Areas covered in the report are: the Non-Contract Program; state participation; students attending New England two-year colleges and institutes; students attending New England state colleges; students attending the six state universities, University of Lowell, and Southeastern Massachusetts University; and the Health Professions Contract Program. Several highlights are noted: enrollment in non-contract study increased by 107 students or 3.1 percent; enrollment shows use of 591 degree programs offered for regional enrollment by public colleges and universities in the region; and enrollment is highest in the fields of Pharmacy, Forestry, Education, and Engineering.
