Essays concerning multiple aspects of integrating the concept of professional equality between the sexes into the field of sport are presented. The abstract idea of sexual equality is examined, and methods for determining the degree of equality present in given working situations are set forth. A discussion of the laws, enforcing agencies, and court procedures attendant upon anti-sex discrimination includes measures by which social change may be effected. Resources for the victim of sexual discrimination are listed, and a model is provided for the organization of local support groups. The importance of intergroup reinforcement is stressed. Examples of how to file a sex discrimination complaint are given, and a listing of the National Coalition for Women and Girls in Education members is appended. (LH)
