French and English annotations for each of the 41 Canadian children's books that involve animals are provided in this bibliography; books listed are in English or French, with some bilingual items, including one in English and Ojibwa. Bibliographic information for each title includes author's name, illustrator's name (if illustrated), photographer's name (if includes photographs), imprint, and pagination. An index to the books is also given, containing the names of authors, illustrators, photographers, titles in both languages, and awards received. Selected subject headings in the index provide access to the fauna and flora indicated in the titles of the works or in their annotations. (Author/JD)
