Application and Enrollment Patterns of Transfer Students. Fall 1976 and Fall 1977.
State Univ. of New York, Albany. Central Staff Office of Institutional Research.
Data collected during the seventh and eighth annual studies of the application and enrollment patterns of State University of New York (SUNY) transfer students are tabulated. For the purpose of this study, transfer students were defined as undergraduate students who were enrolled at a SUNY institution for the first time in a fall term, but who had attended other colleges or universities prior to the given fall term. Summary tables provide information by prior institution and student level for four-year and two-year institutions and for the four coordinating areas. Enrollment trend information for Fall 1967 through Fall 1977 is provided for transfer, continuing, returning students, and for full-time undergraduate students by level at the four-year institutions. Detailed information is provided on undergraduate transfer students for each institution for Fall 1976 and Fall 1977. A map indicating the constituent institutions of the State University of New York and a publications list are appended. (BH)
