The annotated bibliography presents approximately 450 references about art for elementary, secondary, and professional levels. It is presented in three sections. Section one identifies 19 resources about art from a professional or teaching perspective. Included are books explaining how to teach various techniques to students of beginning or experienced background. Sections two and three comprise the bulk of the document, listing resources for elementary and secondary grades respectively. In each section entries are listed alphabetically by author in the following categories: reference; architecture; ceramics; crafts; design; drawing; fiber arts; graphic design; history, appreciation, theory; metal work and jewelry; painters; painting; photography; printmaking; sculpture; and sundries. Most of the entries were published in the 1960s and 1970s. In addition to the annotation, each entry gives information on author, title, publisher, date, price, and grade level. (AV)
