This booklet is designed to help high school students plan their course schedules. Though written with reference to the Baltimore area, it can serve as a useful model for other school districts. The booklet explains the zoned comprehensive schools and specialized citywide schools created under a 1975 desgregation program, listing and describing the course offerings of each. Other sections offer suggestions for career decision making and state the requirements for a high school diploma. A final section helps students organize the needed information and fill out a program schedule worksheet suitable for their needs. Emphasis throughout is on providing students with all the facts they need to choose effectively among available career options. (Author/BP)
