Application for Graduate Experiential Learning Credit.

Experiential Learning graduate credits are awarded to students enrolled in the Institute for Personal and Career Development (IPCD) graduate programs for knowledge acquired from on-the-job training, on-the-job experiences, non-university workshops, other vocation-related experiences, or avocational achievemnts. These experiences and achievements are evaluated by an ICPD faculty team and translated into special course titles. Credit is determined by the applicability and depth of the experience, and is limited to 10 credit hours. This application for credit consists of nine sections: (1) current personal and professional information; (2) educational information, including past undergraduate and graduate courses and the degree currently being sought: (3) competencies required for degree programs in Management and Supervision, Community Leadership, and Education; (4) learning from work experiences; (5) learning from training experiences; (6) other experiential learning; (7) signatures of applicant and notary public; (8) verification from an employer or a responsible member of the community who knows the applicant; and (9) records of the credit awarded. Complete instructions for completing the application, and all necessary forms are included. (BW)
