Proceedings are reported of a conference for Illinois occupational teacher educators designed to share with them information and materials developed in selected projects and to involve them in long-range planning for program improvement. Following a brief introductory section, the report presents summaries of the conference presentations given by representatives of three state agencies and by directors of recent projects funded by the Division of Vocational and Technical Education. The titles of these presentations are Out of the Seventies--Into the Eighties; Illinois Education/1975 (Film Script); A Manual of Procedures for Approving Illinois Teacher Education Institutions and Programs; Preservice Occupational Program; Administration by Competency; Capstone; Career Guidance Coordinators; Health Occupational Teacher Education Program; Instructional Management Program to Advance Career Training; and Occupational Education Administration. The appendix includes reports of conference discussions held by the following task force planning groups: administration; applied biological and agricultural occupations; business, marketing, and management occupations; elementary, career education, and guidance; health occupations; industrial oriented occupations; and personal and public service occupations.
