This guide describes a program designed to assist local school leaders in developing a career exploration program for grades 7-9. It is designed for implementation in the classroom structure and curriculum and is divided into seven sections: Introduction, Teacher Training, Career Resource Information Bank (CRIB), Field Trips, Positive Action, Evaluations, and Teaching Units. The 14 teaching units cover art, drafting, earth science, English, guidance and counseling, health and life science, home economics, industrial arts, mathematics, music, physical education, social studies, speech, and typing. Each of the units contains some or all of the following elements: Overall obectives, rationale, specific performance objectives, learning activities, sources of information, materials, resource people, budget summary, evaluation, hands on project.
