This catalog begins with a brief history of the Agency for Instructional Television, and it includes descriptions of some of the agency's projects and a list of its staff members. The bulk of the text, however, is devoted to the listing of over 100 educational videotapes and tape series. Each tape or series is listed according to subject and grade level, and each entry has a course description which includes information about title, length, teacher's guide, producer, content synopses, and an outline of the units of instruction.
