The pamphlet is divided into eight major sections: (1) history and importance; (2) fields of work; (3) nature of work (this section is subdivided into automotive repair occupations, heavy-duty (diesel) repair occupations, industrial repair occupations, and trade and business occupations); (4) preparation and training; (5) working conditions; (6) personal qualities needed on the job; (7) future outlook; and (8) seeking employment.
