This illustrated reader is one in a series designed for use in the Alaska State-Operated Schools' bilingual education program. This parallel English-Yup'ik reader was prepared by the third and fourth grades in the Twin Hills Sschool. Black-and-white drawings illustrate the story. The text is designed so that the English version follows the Yup'ik text on the back of the picture page, rather than being opposite the Yup'ik. (AM)
