A Consumers Guide to Instructional Scientific Equipment.
National Science Foundation, Washington, DC. Office of Experimental Projects and Programs.
This book is designed to test the feasibility of a consumers' information exchange for the users and purchasers of laboratory and other instructional equipment in undergraduate science education. Through the use of this guide it may be possible for the prospective purchaser to learn of and contact faculty at other colleges and universities who are currently users of the equipment in question. The book has two sections. The first lists the colleges and universities whose faculty participated as equipment users. The principal section contains an alphabetical list of equipment, with each item accompanied by the name, address, and telephone number of at least one faculty user. (Author/EB)
