The potential of the teaching aspect of homemaker service, to prevent breakdown and to strengthen individual and family life, presents a challenge to the initiative, creativity, and commitment of homemaker-home health aide and allied services. The guide provides a distillation of practical experiences in the day-to-day delivery of the teaching aspect of homemaker service.
