Four auditory delivery systems and their implications for instructing handicapped children are discussed. Outlined are six potential benefits of applying technologies to education, such as making education more productive. Pointed out are potential uses of sub-channel radio (such as programming for the blind), of broadband communication (such as home instruction through cable television), of telephone communication (such as a link to computer assisted instruction) and of rate-altered recordings (such as in individualized aural instruction).
