A survey of scientists and engineers who participated in the Presidential Internships in Science and Engineering Program was conducted by a questionnaire to determine the effectiveness of the program in meeting its objectives and to identify some of the characteristics of the interns. The report summarizes responses to each question and recommends the direction of future research. (NTIS)
