Under a USOE contract to conduct a 14-month study entitled "An Assessment of School-Supervised Work Education Programs, "System Development Corporation considered those programs in which students spend part of their time working in paying jobs, which are usually reserved by the employer for students from that particular school or district. The bibliography, originally published by SDC as TM-5086/000/00, is the result of a literature review conducted for that study and contains more than 1,600 listings.
