This report summarizes the responses to a questionnaire investigating Spring 1974 practices regarding credit awarded by the three levels of state-supported colleges throughout California for satisfactory completion of various College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) examinations. The results indicate that the majority of reporting state colleges and universities and UC campuses grant credit in specific exam areas, while the majority of community colleges do not. Of the 65 colleges that returned questionnaires, 63 reported at least one CLEP exam. An appendix provides the questionnaire responses. A copy of the questionnaire used is included. (DB)
