Student enrollment in New England institutions of higher education for the fall 1972 are reported. Following introductory material, New England enrollment, first time students, residence data, institutional data, and U.S. enrollment are discussed. Appendices include statistical enrollment data for Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts and enrollment statistics by institutional control and level. (MJM)
