The Air Pollution Control Officer's (APCO) Manual is part of a set of 21 manuals (AA 001 009-001 029) used in APEX (Air Pollution Exercise) a computerized college and professional level "real world" game simulation of a community with urban and rural problems, industrial activities, and air pollution difficulties, The first two sections, which are the same in each of the student manuals (volumes 1 to 19), contain general information about APEX interaction simulation and a glossary of reference terms. The remaining sections contain the following; APCO's role description; an annotated APCO's worksheet; a sample APCO's worksheet; background information for APCO's role; an annotated printout for cycle one; and a map of the 29 APEX analysis areas.
