Are You Ten Feet Tall?
Hilliard, Robert L.
Instructional television (ITV) today is being used by only one-fifth of the schools in this country; even though television makes possible education tailor-made to the needs of each student, it is often used merely as a supplement to education as memorization of standardized facts. Television must be used to bring the world to the student and vice versa, and it is the responsibility of those who develop instructional television to see that it is used correctly so that the long-needed revolution in education can finally take place.
