This document reports on a study to determine (1) the status of the administrative internship in 1967-68 University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) universities, (2) university supervisors' perceptions of the future of the administrative internship, and (3) the role of the internship in future preparation programs for school administrators. A major recommendation is that all universities with preparation programs for school administrators offer internship programs for small numbers of students. Numerous tables illustrate study findings.
