GRADES OR AGES: Grade 12. SUBJECT MATTER: Modern economic, political, and sociological problems primarily in the United States. ORGANIZATION AND PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: The guide is divided into six units, each of which is laid out in two columns. Column headings are: content and suggested activities. The guide is mimeographed and perfect-bound with a paper cover. OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES: Each unit begins with a list of specific behavioral objectives. Suggested activities--described in detail--are correlated with specific concepts. Activities include class discussion, oral and written reports, independent research, and analysis of readings and films. Emphasis is given to class discussion of terms in order to arrive at definitions. Suggestions for timing of each unit are included.
