Ward, Joseph S.; And Others
This instructor's guide contains lesson outlines, at Army Subject Schedule level, for experimental programs of conscientious objector (CO) and corpsman training proposed in another Human Resources Research Office report. Most of the present document (Appendixes B-E) covers the following: (1) integrated basic and advanced individual training (MBT/AIT) to qualify COs as corpsmen; (2) an advanced individual program to be given to all corpsman trainees if the Army Medical Training Center (USAMTC) lacks the personnel and plant capabilities for presenting the integrated MBT/AIT, or to be given to non COs if the integrated program is given to COs; (3) modified CO basic training designed to replace the courses currently taught at the USAMTC if the Center lacks sufficient facilities and personnel for the integrated MBT/AIT program; (4) detailed lesson plans applicable to the three programs described above. Lesson objectives, methods, study references, facilities, instructional aids, and trainee equipment are stated for each period of instruction. A general introduction deals with concepts and desired skills, followed by instructor requirements and the improvements incorporated in the courses. (LY)
