This curriculum guide for elective, non-graded English courses contains general objectives in literature, composition, language, listening, and speaking as well as recommending texts, activities, and recordings for each of 37 courses offered in such diverse areas of study as Utopian Literature, Mythology, Poetry Analysis, Development of the Drama, Journalism, and Argumentation and Debate. Also included in the guide are specific objectives, booklists, and suggested films for seven "focus" courses (e.g., the outdoors, mechanics, teen problems, and adventure and travel).
