M. Flynt, who presents the purposes and long-range possibilities of the U. S. Office of Education's Project English; (5) J. N. Hook, who gives an account of the first year of Project English; and (6) James R. Squire, who comments on the efforts of college English departments and various educational associations to improve English teaching. (JM)
