The objectives of this manual are to provide general information about individualized instruction and the Individually Prescribed Instruction (IPI) mathematics program, to familiarize the user with the materials used in IPI Mathematics, to provide a chance to practice necessary skills, and to give suggestions for making the job of the IPI aide easier. The use of the IPI placement tests, pretests, curriculum-embedded tests, posttests, and standard teaching sequence booklet is covered in some detail. Examples of completed forms illustrate the text.
