The first and major portion of this report of a film study project in Evanston, Illinois, lists films selected for use in grades 1-8, together with plot summaries of varying lengths, special uses for the films, suggested study questions and activities, sample student responses to questions and assignments, running times, appropriate age levels, and sources for ordering the films. The results of an evaluation of the film program as determined by questionnaires distributed to students and teachers are presented in parts two and three. A brief conclusion on the overall response to the program and the addresses of film distributors conclude the publication. (LH)
