Hendrick, Irving G.
A report on the history of school integration in Riverside, California, describes the city and traces the inception of a desegregation plan. Chapters discuss the developing consciousness of the need for improvement in minority group education, the confrontation in 1965 between school officials and minority group parents, and commitment of the school board and school administration to total integration, and the preparations and programs for integration.
