As the result of field observation and a review of school data, this report presents the findings of a study of minority-group education and intergroup relations in the Vallejo Unified School District in California. It analyzes the racial and ethnic distribution o f students in the school district and describes the amount of equal educational opportunity and the status o f intergroup relations in the schools. In the light of these findings recommendations are made for immediate and long-range change. (See also UD 006730, UD 006731, and UD 006732). (EF)
