CHAPTER 3 DESCRIBES AND ANALYZES THE SYSTEM-WIDE CHANGEOVER TO THE NONGRADED SCHOOL IN DETROIT. CHAPTER 4 RAISES QUESTIONS WHICH ARISE IN PLANNING OR EVALUATING A NONGRADED SCHOOL OR IN ADJUSTING ONGOING PROGRAMS. CHAPTER 5 FOCUSES UPON THE RELATIONSHIP PROBLEMS BETWEEN ADMINISTRATIVE STRUCTURE AND INSTRUCTIONAL FUNCTION. CHAPTER 6 REFLECTS THE OBSERVATIONS, PROGRAMS, AND PROBLEMS SEEN BY COMPETENT OBSERVERS.
