Reynolds, Cecil R. – Contemporary Educational Psychology, 1978
Primary school children were administered the Draw-A-Design and Draw-A Child subtests of the McCarthy Scales of Children's Abilities in a group setting. Results suggest that the McCarthy drawing tests may be administered validly in a group format, and that these scores are significantly related to school achievement. (Author/BW)

The Wallach and Kogan Creativity Battery, a self report questionnaire of creative activities, and a group intelligence test were administered to an entire Israeli high school senior class. Creative activity was found to be related to creative thinking but not to intelligence or school grades. (Author/DEP)

Test scores from Comprehensive Ability Battery (CAB) administered to 103 British students were subjected to oblique factor analysis. Six factors were extracted which fitted closely those described by Cattell and colleagues, thus supporting their claims concerning structure of abilities and utility of this American instrument in Great Britain. Use of group IQs as predictors of grades and high school completion is re-evaluated. Correlations between IQ and grades were lower for vocational courses than for academic courses. It is suggested that the minimum IQ for the four year program is 80 and the minimum for the five year program 100. (Author)
