Organized assessment procedures are used as preface to therapy to help in transmittal of information structuring of relationships, and information gathering. Examined the effect of counselor attire on the perceptions of 30 students participating in a group counseling session. Results indicated that informal clothing, similar to the students' attire, resulted in increased perceptions of expertness, trustworthiness and helpfulness in a neophyte counselor. (JAC)

Administered a test of all-inclusive conceptualization (AIC) to 28 counseling practicum students who submitted audiotapes of counseling sessions which were rated on the level of empathic understanding.
