Navigating Title IX Changes through the Lived Work Experiences of Title IX Investigators
Robert A. Braswell
ProQuest LLC, Ph.D. Dissertation, Illinois State University
The purpose of this phenomenological study was to explore the lived work experiences of Title IX Investigators as they navigate their responsibilities amongst the continuous changes to Title IX policies and procedures. The lived work experiences of 12 Title IX investigators were collected through in-depth one-on-one interviews to provide knowledge and contribute to the limited preexisting literature regarding their role. Recommendations were provided for Title IX coordinators and advisory teams to foster a satisfactory work environment for Title IX investigators.
