Findings from an American Chemical Society survey show that the pessimism that characterized the job market in 1983 has given way to a much brighter outlook as employers hire more chemists and chemical engineers. Data from the survey on the supply and demand of chemical professionals are provided and discussed. (JN)

Results of a recent survey about computer science education are turned into a guide for college administrators by forecasting current and future production of all degree levels through 1988-89. Supply and demand for associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree production are considered separately. (JN)

A survey of 259 state agencies, private nonprofit agencies, and residential schools for the blind determined, among other findings, that in 1981 there were twice as many budgeted vacancies for rehabilitation teachers as graduates of university training programs, and that projections to 1990 show a growing demand for services.
