Following a 20-minute interview, clients and counselors (N=47) completed two questionnaires assessing perceived counselor characteristics and counselor nonverbal behaviors. Results showed variance client-perceived expertness, trustworthiness, and attractiveness was not well predicted by judges' verbal and nonverbal behavior categories. (JAC)
