There is little evidence that medical school faculties are setting up educational programs to meet the public demand for well-qualified family physicians to provide comprehensive personal health care. (IR)

A survey conducted by the Association of American Medical Colleges used direct contacts with medical faculty members to obtain data on their activities in research. The purpose of this research project was to determine the effectiveness of a school-based dental health education program which included a parental support component.
