Investigated the relationship between stigma and potentially stigmatizing events by interviewing 90 people bereaved by suicide. Some (N=28) felt stigmatized; 62 subjects did not. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which Crockett's Role Category Questionnaire (RCQ) is confounded by verbal ability.
