Compared the Job Club method with an alternative method, using clients who had job-finding problems, such as physical, emotional, intellectual, and social handicaps, or long-term unemployment. Investigated the effectiveness of an innovative method of counseling, Rapid Problem Resolution (RPR) with chronically unemployed rehabilitation clients. Counselors used the RPR technique with 29 problem clients whose cases were about to be closed unsuccessfully. In this study, 19 of the 26 clients were rehabilitated. (Author)
