Wise, Leiws – Connecticut Law Review, 1973
In Board of Regents v. Roth, decided on June 29, 1972, the Supreme Court held that a professor at a state university, who was without tenure and serving on the basis of a one-year contract, had no constitutional right to a statement of reasons or to a hearing prior to the school's decision not to renew his contract.
