Eversoll, Deanna – Adolescence, 1979
This study was concerned with measuring perceptions of a random sample of college students toward the "father role." The Father Role Opinionnaire (FRO) was developed to compile data on five sub-role dimensions of the father role--nuturer, problem solver, provider, societal model, and recreational companion. Henry, G.; Massoz, D. – Studies in Educational Evaluation, 1980
Factor analysis of the Good Citizen Role Inventory Scale showed that father's occupation, civics scores, and student's expected occupation were more correlated with good citizen roles than affective or background factors. Belgian students could not describe a good citizen role, but they emphasized active roles more than other students. (CP)
