Surveyed lesbian, gay, and bisexual student affairs professionals about work experiences related to their sexual orientation. Findings indicate that lesbian, gay, and bisexual professionals who were open to all people at work reported experiencing more discrimination in their careers than those less open. Reports on an in-class experiment where a lesbian assistant professor of counseling psychology disclosed her sexual orientation to two sections of an undergraduate class and did not disclose it to two comparable sections of the same course. Comparisons of teaching evaluations revealed no evidence of bias. (MJP)
